Build Notes

This piece was shaped gradually by hand, allowing the natural grain, twists, and resistance of the wood to dictate its final form rather than forcing symmetry or artificial balance.

The final structure emerged through repeated rotation, balance checks, and incremental refinement, preserving the sense of motion within the wood while ensuring stable anchor points suitable for submerged placement.

Where internal adjustments were required, material was carefully reduced rather than added, maintaining a natural silhouette and avoiding unnecessary bulk. The result is a form that feels dynamic yet settled — strong without appearing heavy.
